Couplands Caravans are a family business established in 1975 by Peter Coupland. Davan was started in 1936 by Bert Davies (the same year his son Idris was born). Mr. A.E.T Davies (Bert) was the eldest son of a Welsh farmer and was brought up at Gilfach Wen Farm nr Six Bells, Abertillery South Wales.
