No extension to vaccine passports in Scotland

Vaccine passports will not be extended to further Scottish hospitality venues, the First Minister has announced in a statement to MSPs.

Nicola Sturgeon said an extension of the scheme to other hospitality venues would ‘not be proportionate’.

Covid passport restrictions remain in place for the late-night industry and the nightclub sectors, which has apparently has had a significant impact on their trade.
