A new campervan owner made a 637-mile round trip to purchase an NCC-approved vehicle.
Stuart Smith left his Glasgow home on 1 March and used a plane, train and taxi to reach Redline Campers in Watford Gap, Northamptonshire – which has been an NCC Approved Manufacturer since July 2024.
He'd been attracted by the NCC badge, and the reassurance it gave him as a prospective buyer.
He said: “Redline Campers’ ISO 9001 certificate and NCC approval was a selling point for me as it gives me peace of mind that the build was done professionally, and it was safe for both my family and hiring it out to others. I think it will be a good selling point when it is advertised to potential customers, also easing their concerns.”
NCC approval can be achieved only after a comprehensive check of the manufacturer’s production processes, during which we inspect work on gas installations and appliances, furnishings and electrical wiring, along with much more. It’s a serious undertaking from any manufacturer that demonstrates their commitment to producing the safest product possible.
Thanks to Redline Campers for sharing this story.
