To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Highbridge Caravans, a long-standing NCC member, is undertaking a 24-hour charity fundraising challenge spanning the length of the UK.
The challenge aims to highlight and celebrate British leisure vehicle manufacturers and the company's own storied history, all while raising funds for the South West Children's Hospice, a cause close to many team members.
The challenge will involve a team of three Highbridge employees, led by the firm's Motorhome Sales Manager, Jody White, travelling in a campervan (pictured) from Land's End to John O'Groats in a journey expected to last more than 22 hours.
Along the way they will stop for photo opportunities at Highbridge's Devon and Somerset branches, Bailey in Bristol, Hillside Leisure in Derby, WildAx near Huddersfield, Coachman and the Swift Group in Hull and the Erwin Hymer Group in Consett – all UK manufacturer partners of Highbridge.
Failure to complete the challenge within the 24-hour timeframe will result in a forfeit, an icy dip for the three travellers in the waters of Loch Ness!
