Government says that countries around the world are facing rising goods and energy prices, inflation and cost of living pressures after the pandemic and Ukraine war. It has signposted various sources of cost of living support that people could be eligible for under the new Help for Households campaign.
A number of larger businesses, including supermarket chains, utility companies and Amazon are making offers available to help with the cost of living.
